Happy New Year!

Celebrate the New Year with 16 engaging literacy and writing activities for kindergarten, first grade, or second grade students. Students will write about their Favorite Memories of 2023, New Year's Resolutions, New Year's Day Traditions, Goals for 2024, write a New Year story, and complete a New Year's craft. Students will also write an acrostic poem, complete word work activities, and identify characters, setting, problem, and solution using a story map. These activities are perfect for literacy centers, small group, independent seat work, early finishers, sub plans, Fun Fridays, or morning work. The reading graphic organizers can be used with any fictional book about the New Year's resolutions.
